Welcome to Dundee

Dear Colleagues,

On Behalf of the Organising Committee, I wish to welcome you all to Dundee for UKIAFT’s AGM 17-18th August 2023!

This will be the first AGM held in Scotland since 2011 and what better setting than the University of Dundee, No 1 in the UK for Forensic Science and home to the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science.

Building on the success of previous meetings, the theme for 2023 is “Toxicology for Tomorrow” and I look forward to learning from others as to what might be around the corner and how we can better prepare ourselves for future drug trends.

The committee are already working on creating a fantastic program and we will circulate details on how to submit abstracts shortly.

For those of you supervising students, please encourage them to present work, either as oral presentations or as posters.

So, get Dundee in your diaries, and I look forward to seeing you all here.
